RAISING AWARENESS

LifeIce is committed to RAISING AWARENESS about ovarian cancer.

Inspired by the therapeutic effects of traditional ice chips, LifeIce was borne out of the recipes Founder, Paulette Fox, made during her own mother’s brave battle with ovarian cancer. All throughout its evolution into the delicious and nutritious “cubettes” we now know and love, LifeIce has pledged a commitment to RAISING AWARENESS about ovarian cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, each year, more than 22,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer and another 15,000 lose their lives to the disease. LifeIce believes that through awareness, education and research, we can continue the fight to eradicate this terrible disease.

As the LifeIce brand grows, so will its dedication to creating strategic partnerships with ovarian cancer research advocates and implementing a variety of fundraising efforts.

With each cubette, LifeIce is RAISING AWARENESS to fight ovarian cancer.

LifeIce is proud to officially announce its partnership with Ovarian Cancer Research Fund ("OCRF") and our joint commitment to raising awareness about ovarian cancer.

About OCRF:

OCRF is the largest charity in the United States funding ovarian cancer research. Our mission is to fund scientific research that leads to more effective identification, treatment and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. Each year there will be approximately 22,000 new cases of ovarian cancer in the United States, and about 15,500 women will die of the disease. Currently there is no effective means of early detection. Since 1998, OCRF has given over $50 million for ovarian cancer research. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, OCRF sponsored researchers are developing innovative strategies for early detection; exploring the genetics that increase risk for ovarian cancer; understanding the underlying molecular biology of the disease; identifying new and better targets for treatment; and deciphering how and why ovarian cancer spreads, and how to stop it.
